This was a really good short story!
I liked Devan as the hero; he was tortured and pining and, in the end, let nothing stand between himself and true love.
While Isobel did that "I probably should tell him the truth but I won't" thing, I liked her and thought she was a good match for Devan.
This is one of those books that I wish was a full-length novel or a longer novella; anything longer than 20 pages! The story is touching has fantastic potential to, say, be re-released as a longer book (wink wink, nudge nudge, Eve!)
I would absolutely read more books by Eve Jordan!
