This was one intense read! Teri did an excellent job of keeping me on the edge of my seat from the beginning of the book until the end. Her description of what Eve had to endure in the beginning of the story had me almost physically feeling what she was going through.

Mac was adorable. Nearly perfect! He is tough and yet sweet, funny and protective...the whole package.

The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five was Eve's attitude in general and towards Mac. She is hard-core "I don't need NO man," which is fine, but to me, it seemed to the extreme. Mac, in my opinion, acts appropriately in the action-packed situations he and Eve find themselves in (trying not to spoil the story), and she all but hates him for wanting to look out for her well-being.

But if you like romantic suspense, this is a GREAT book for you!
