SCORCHING HOT is the best way to describe these books!While each book can be read as a stand-alone, reading both will give the reader a more complete picture.
Both books are incredibly descriptive, and JB is definitely very talented at wielding the written word.
The cumulative story is very erotic and very touching. It tells of events that occurred to Jared at a young age to shape him into the man he ultimately became, and it tells of events that happened to Lolly, by way of Jared, that also formed the person she became.
I would read ANYTHING written by JB Brooks!
