I could not put this book down!
A good part of the story was focused on Taddy and her friends, and in other books, I found myself skipping chunks of the story to get to the part where the hero and heroine interacted. I didn't do that in Unscrupulous; I didn't want to! Taddy Brill is, by far, my favorite heroine ever.
Avery also included a lot of "Alley McBeal moments," where the character would have a funny sentence or two of internal monologue about what was going on at the time. I enjoyed those immensely.
Oh did I mention the love scenes were BEYOND HOT?! (Read with a fan nearby!)
This book has made me a HUGE fan of Avery Aster's. I can't wait to read more!!!
